A place to perch while lacing boots or waiting for everyone to get out the door makes busy mornings easier. The Sculptural Bench With Wave Design For Entryway offers just that, with a rolling wooden base that looks like art. It welcomes guests and keeps the entry practical.
The Design
The base flows in a wave-like rhythm that blends structure with sculpture. Natural grain variations show along the curves. The bench can hold a person, a basket or a few display pieces, or simply stand as a focal point.
How It Is Built
Several solid wood blocks come together to make the wave. To ship safely, it is separated into pieces and will need assembly when you receive it. A gentle finish lets the wood’s warmth and texture come through with a raw, rustic look.
Where to Use It
It works by the front door, in a hallway, at the end of a bed, in a modern living room, or in a studio or office as functional sculpture.
